Now THAT'S the Stuff!!!

To say the last few years of winter here in the good ole' state of Michigan have been mild is putting it lightly. It seems like it has been over a decade since we were last handed our collective asses by Mother Nature. Well, as of Friday, I would say that streak has been broken.
I can't remember the last time it was this cold and windy and snowing for so long. I know I was a heck of a lot younger. What I wouldn't give for those snow pants about now...
On a completely unrelated note, has anyone else listened to the new Coldplay album? I'm normally not a fan, but that stupid Viva La Vida
song has been stuck in my head since I saw the music video on VH1 last night. D'oh!

Winter has certainly hit early and strong here in North Carolina. Most years the weather is reasonable until after Christmas. This year we have already had quite a bit of snow. Today, freezing rain!
